I meant to write that in the OP; it is Simcoe, Centennial, Chinook and Amarillo.

Can't go wrong with that! I love Simcoe in my American Rye beer, which is easy drinking. With the addition of those other American citrusy hops, it really sounds like a winner!

Put this on tap tonight, the adjustments I made from the original recipe really worked out. Changing the bittering from Magnum to Chinook gives it a nice kick, and adding Munich to the grist has added a nice maltiness that the first one lacked. It finished at 1.008 down from 1.044 so a 4.7% IPA, this is a very tasty beer and I can have a few without getting messed up.

I used a similar hop blend in my house IPA yesterday because of this thread. I added some willamette and ctz to the mix. Hope it turns out well.

Another really good one. You know I'm always a sucker for these low gravity American Bitters, and this is a nice one. I think the Chinook and Munich were both a good call.I bought a six of the Bitter American from 21st Amendment, which is a really nice beer (thanks for telling me about it), and this is a nice recipe if anyone wants to make a similar beer with a bit more character.
