So I was crushing my grains on Saturday evening with all intentions of making and amber. Then as I was digging through my grains a stumble across some half / quarter bags of stuff that has been around awhile so I decided to use it up. Here's what I came up with:6.5 GallonsOG 1.0588 lbs Pale Malt2 lbs Munich1 lb Crystal 60L6 oz British Dark Crystal (Not sure what Lovibond but I'd say between 80 and 100)8 oz Victory8 oz Wheat4 oz Roast Barley (300L stuff not the real black stuff)Mashed at 154 for 60 min1 oz Target 8.6%AA 60 min1 oz Goldings 4.5%AA 30 min1 oz Cascade 5.4%AA 5 minFor yeast I went with 1056So it's really not to a style but it should be good beer.

Should be a pretty interesting beer! Without plugging it in any programs, I think I would call it a pretty nice brown...maybe a touch on the dry side for a brown, but with a big malt richness.Keep us posted!
